In the Ṣaḥīḥ Al-Bukhārī it is narrated by Ibn ʿAbbās (RA) that the messenger of Allah (SWS) used to recite on Friday Fajr prayers Sūrat As-Sajdah and Sūrat Al-Insān and on Friday prayers Sūrat Al-Jumuʿah and Sūrat Al-Munāfiqūn.
In the ḥadith of An-Nasā’ī and Al-Hākim it is narrated by Abū Saʿid Al-Khudrī (RA) that the messenger of Allah (SWS) said: “Whoever recites Sūrat Al-Kahf on Friday will have a light illuminated for him between the two Fridays.”
In the ḥadith of Ibn Mājah and Abū Dāwūd it is narrated by An-Nʿumān Ibn Bashīr (RA) that the messenger of Allah (SWS) used to recite on Eid and Friday prayers Sūrat Al-Aʿlā and Sūrat Al-Ghāshiyah.
